Job Description

Coordinate and follow up maintenance programs, preventive, predictive and corrective, in  mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, mobile equipment and general services areas, so as to monitor the program of renewal of equipment and control of critical parts of equipment related to production processes, promoting continuous improvement in the activities and processes in order to correct, reduce or prevent machinery failures,
Manage the application of resources, both material and human in order to keep the machinery in proper operating condition, contributing positively to the continuity of production and product quality.


Key Responsibilities

•    Follow-up and review with the supervisors daily activities 

•    Coordinate and support the supervisor of each area on the different needs of each department

•    Review and approve purchase requisitions for materials and spare parts

•    Review logbooks and records of work in different shifts in order to analyze the information related to downtime and affectations to the quality of the      product

•    Review with supervisors in each area the diffusion of continuous improvement programs

•    Coordinate with the production manager, jobs that require stoppage of machinery and develop a program of activities and schedule

•    Review the capacity and quality of shops and businesses, suppliers of materials and work

•    Review and make adjustments as required to the programming of preventive and predictive maintenance

•    Check with supervisors in each area, monthly indicators of the department and formulating preventive and corrective actions if necessary

•    Monthly review and update the lists of critical parts, maximum, minimum and reorder points
